Orla maintains a positive relationship with our local communities based on open and honest communication and mutual respect. We aim to generate favourable economic and social outcomes, enhancing the overall well-being of our host communities in a sustainable manner that extends beyond the lifespan of the mine, minimizing its impacts.

Our goal is that this collaborative approach to community development contributes to growing trust between the company and the community, demonstrating a productive relationship.

Orla Camino Rojo is committed to sustainability and regional economic development. Throughout 2025, we are coordinating several significant initiatives, focusing on minimizing our environmental impact and promoting community well-being.

Strengthening Community Bonds Through Culture: Orla Mining hosted the “Cine Bajo las Estrellas” event in San Tiburcio, creating a space where more than 250 residents from neighboring communities gathered to enjoy a family-friendly film under the night sky.

This initiative, carried out in collaboration with Mundo Minero, is part of Orla’s ongoing efforts to promote cultural enrichment and meaningful community engagement beyond the workplace. Events like this foster unity and strengthen the social fabric across our areas of influence.

A Joint Effort for a Greener Future: In response to community input, Orla Mining initiated a landscape restoration project in the El Tinaco area of San Tiburcio. 

The work includes right-of-way improvements, perimeter fencing, and coordinated maintenance with the local municipality. By combining environmental stewardship with local collaboration, this project enhances public spaces and reflects Orla’s long-term commitment to sustainable development and environmental care in the communities we serve.
