Brendan DePoe serves as Corporate Counsel for Orla, where he provices strategic legal advice on a wide range of corporate securities and commercial matters.
After completing a BCom from the University of Alberta and his Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia, Brendan was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2014.
He then joined Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, in their London and Vancouver offices. When the opportunity with Orla arose, it was the perfect chance for a new challenge, and to apply his 10 years of experience advising public mining companies in a variety of areas, including securities law, mergers and acquisitions, financing activities, joint ventures, governance, and regulatory and stock exchange compliance. When he’s not at work, Brendan enjoys spending an inordinate amount of time golfing, as well as playing hockey, poorly.
