Ms. Brown is a mining professional with over 30 years of technical and capital markets experience. She is currently a partner of Oberon Capital, an investment services provider and a director of Newfound Gold. Previous experience also includes positions as a non-executive director of Lundin Gold, Eastmain Resources and Superior Gold; as well as Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Development (Americas) for Newcrest Mining; Vice President, Corporate Development and Investor Relations for Primero Mining; and Director of Investor Relations for IAMGOLD. Ms. Brown has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Curtin University in Australia and has completed the Chartered Business Valuator course at York University. Ms. Brown was also a professional engineer in the mining industry.
